frequently asked questions

Can I really learn how to sing?

Yes! We believe that everybody can learn how to sing. Through our tested vocal training sessions and the results from our clients who have taken the international vocal assessments with the London College of Music exam that it is absolutely possible. Our founder, Kellie Cadogan,  is a testament that it is possible, and the programs are designed with the client in mind so that they can reach their vocal potential. Once our clients are committed, dedicated, willing to learn, have fun they will discover the growth not only in their voices but also in their lives.

Will I have to perform for people, especially in a public setting?

We encourage all of our clients to take part in the recital activities (physical/digital) so that they can experience all aspects of the program. Additionally, we are aware that everyone may not be interested in a stage performance. For larger productions there is an audition process for clients and the East Point choir is the secondary option of participation with the program for students who are not ready to perform in a principal position. Please note that presentations in class in front of your classmates is mandatory as  full participation is required in the program.

How long does it take for a beginner singer to really be able to sing competently?

The competency of the individual has many variables, studies have shown that a client who is dedicated on their journey can see significant changes in a two-year span. While this is true, we have been able to see results for some of our clients within a year of training.

What will I get at the end of vocal training program?

Depending on the program you select, clients (no matter the age) are entered for the London College of Music examinations, which are done digitally. We prepare and train all of our clients toward this achievement in a comfortable and safe environment. It is important to us that your time and investment is rewarded tangibly with something that you can show as proof of your achievements.
