Course Description

This course provides an introduction to the foundational elements of singing. It is designed for persons who have little or no training but enjoy singing and are willing to explore their full vocal potential. This is an intensive, practical course where focus in on group and individual work for healthy, effective vocal production and performance.

On the course students will cover:

Vocal techniques & Terms & Approaches
KC beginners - Vocal Warm-ups & exercises
Musicianship + Basic music theory
Microphone technique
Song interpretation
Performance techniques
Student performances |Recitals| Productions

Activities

• All students are given the opportunity to gain practical experience at a number of our events
• Students can also audition for our grand end-of-term production “Walkin’ In My Own Shoes”.
• Free workshops.
