STUDIO POLICY
At East Point School of Music (hereinafter referred to as "the Studio"), we are committed to providing high-quality instruction in a structured, supportive, and professional learning environment. These Studio Policies apply to all lessons, programs, services, and activities conducted by or on behalf of the Studio.
By enrolling in lessons or participating in Studio programs, students and parents/guardians acknowledge and agree to the policies outlined below. These policies include, but are not limited to, attendance, missed and makeup classes, cancellations, refunds, scheduling, and other matters necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the Studio and a positive learning experience for all students.
Please read these policies carefully before enrolling, as they form part of your agreement with the Studio.
Registration Fees
All registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Class Tuition & Refunds
Our vocal programs are offered in 6–10 week sessions for private, semi-private, and group classes.
Once a student attends any class within the enrolled session, all tuition payments for that session become non-refundable.
NOTE: Approved refunds will only be processed if all required banking
information is submitted within 30 days of completing the cancellation
form.
Failure to provide the required banking details within this timeframe will
result in the forfeiture of the refund.
Refunds will not be issued for:
-
Missed classes
-
Partial attendance
-
Scheduling conflicts (unless communicated otherwise)
-
Voluntary withdrawal after classes have begun
Cancellation Requests
Students wishing to withdraw from classes must submit a Class Cancellation Request Form. Submission of a cancellation request does not guarantee a refund.
Studio Cancellations
If a class is canceled by the studio or instructor, a makeup class, studio credit, or alternative arrangement may be provided.
Policy Agreement
Enrollment and Registration Fee payment for any class confirms acceptance of this cancellation and refund policy.
MISSED & LATE CLASS POLICY
To ensure fairness and keep our schedule running smoothly, please review the following attendance policy:
Missed Classes
-
Students who miss a scheduled class without providing prior notice will be charged for the class, and it will be considered used.
-
Notice must be given before the day of the scheduled class. Same-day cancellations will only be considered in the event of a genuine emergency.
-
Missed classes are not eligible for a makeup lesson unless an exception is approved by both the tutor and the studio.
Late Arrivals
-
Students are expected to arrive on time for all scheduled classes.
-
Time lost due to a late arrival cannot be added to the end of the lesson or carried over to another session.
-
It is the student's responsibility to arrive on time and be ready to begin at the scheduled lesson time.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a consistent schedule for all students.
